Insula Sf.Eustatius, numita de obicei Statia (Stay-Sha), este astazi o parte din Antilele Olandeze si este situata in nord-estul Caraibelor. Turismul este industria majoră, iar insula este o destinaţie favorită pentru pasionatii de scuba diving şi iubitorii de natura.

La plimbare prin Nurnberg

NURNBERG - „Ehekarusell”, „Caruselul căsătoriei” (subtitlu: „Până ce moartea ne va despărţi”). Fântâna a fost construită pornind de la un poem al lui Hans Sachs, un menestrel german din secolul al XVI-lea care şi-a petrecut cea mai mare parte a vieţii în Nüremberg. Sachs i-a dedicat acest poem soţiei sale, ceea ce spune mult despre sentimentele pe care i le purta consoartei…

Podul Margareta. Al doilea pod budapestan s-a construit între 1872 şi 1876. Face legătura între cele două maluri ale Dunării şi partea sudică a Insulei Margareta.

The Bridge with Chains. Two centuries ago, there were two cities (Buda and Pesta, which today make Budapesta) were conected by chain of boats, ensuring trading between comunities on the oposite banks of the Danube. The Bridge with Chains, built between 1839 and 1849, became a symbol for Budapest. Back then, when it was completed, it was considered one of the world's wonders.

Golubac Fortress is one of the best preserved castles in Serbia dating from the XIV-th century. It was built by Maria Tereza on the Serbian bank of the Danube. It has ten interconnected towers so it could be defended from all directions. During the Medieval period it was the subject of many battles, especially between Hungarians and Turks. Presently, Golubac Fortress is quite a popular tourist atraction.
