The Bridge with Chains. Two centuries ago, there were two cities (Buda and Pesta, which today make Budapesta) were conected by chain of boats, ensuring trading between comunities on the oposite banks of the Danube. The Bridge with Chains, built between 1839 and 1849, became a symbol for Budapest. Back then, when it was completed, it was considered one of the world's wonders.
